I went to this salon as they used Kerastase products exclusively and my hair works best with this set of products. I specifically asked for a creative director as this was my first time cutting hair with them and wanted to go for the most experienced person there.

Gary was assigned to me for cutitng my hair and complimented me on my hair to begin with. He then asked what style I would like the hair to be cut in. As my hair was a couple of inches beyond shoulder height, I specifically asked him to cut nly 2 inches off the bottom. I also told him that as I was working in a conservative field, to not experiment with my hair. Gary seemed to agree - wow, was I wrong!

After the initial wash and dry, Gary started cutting away. I should have sensed something was wrong as he kept cutting and cutting. Towards the end, with a puzzled look, he told me "I am going to cut a little shorter in the back compared to to the front". Again, I assumed that he wouldnt go beyond the 2 inches that I had told him to cut. Again, I was wrong.

Gary ended up giving me a concave bob cut - somethign that definitely doesnt suit my features. As I had repeatedly asked only for 2 inches to be cut from my hair, I didnt expect to walk out with half my hair cut off, that too unevenly in the front and the back.

All in all, if you have to get your hair done, get it done elsewhere. I am still trying to cope with my bad hair cut and am trying to find extensions to cover the mistakes made!!!
