The ultimate holding company is umw holdings berhad, also incorporated in Malaysia, is publicly listed in the kuala lumpur stock exchange with a turnover of rm6.25 billion for 2004.As of 1 january 2001, there was an internal restructuring of the umw group of companies in Singapore. Umw equipment & systems pte ltd has merged into umw trading & engineering pte ltd, whose registered name has been changed to umw equipment & engineering pte ltd.
