Some of the major peaks in the Annapurna region includes Annapurna I (8,091 m), Nilgiri (7061 m), Machhapuchchhre (6993 m), and Dhaulagiri I (8167 m). Mount Annapurna is 10th highest mountain peak in the world and offers wonderful and spectacular natural beauty. This trek encompasses diverse terrain, flora and fauna, ethnic culture and traditions. The Annapurna region is highly revered for its awe-inspiring beauty and snowy amphitheatres. Annapurna region is splendour and immensely decorated by natural attractions. It lies in the Annapurna Conservation Area. Meanwhile, A permit called Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP), required to enter the Annapurna region. Trekkers have to travel through the restricted areas, hence ABC trek is also called Annapurna Sanctuary Trek.

Upper Dolpo circuit trek is one of the untouched and unexplored trekking trails of Nepal. It is situated in the mid western region of Nepal. And you will pass through various high trekking passes over 5,000 meters above sea level throughout the trek. Upper dolpo circuit trek also passes through the Shey Phoksundo lake as well as the Shey Gumba.

Untouched and unexplored upper dolpo is a land where life still moves around yaks, mules and horses. Meanwhile people still wear traditional attire and jewelry and the remains of the dead are given to the vulture.
