The invented 'Skool' in our name reflects our belief that absolute correctness, mechanics and memorisation should not be the focus when teaching preschoolers to write. As children learn to write, they commonly use what they know about letters, sounds & spelling patterns to invent spellings for words. Studies show invented spelling actually helps children understand the relationships between speech sounds and alphabets.

We encourage our children not to be fearful of making mistakes and we believe our children are able to grow into confident and creative individuals who are ready to take on the world!
