I brought the voucher from StreetDeal $18 colour, treatment, wash blow and free cut. I got a nicer guy who did a good job to colour my hair and cut. I paid extra $98 for a Amonnia Free colour instead as I just completed my Scalp treatment elsewhere so just to be safe. The result of my colour hair and cut was good. Before I leave they hard sell me to take a 30 treatments for $99 each treatment in 1 go. I flatly rejected and managed to leave in peace. Be firm do the treatment and tell them no if you reject their hard sell tactics.

Thanks all Singaporeans and reviewers for sharing. It helps many more for not falling into these cheap deals of which it is also part of advertising and promotion but it's just the company that does not even know how to make good uses of the promotion into a long time business. Unwise businessman allows everyone to enter front door but exit back door thru a hole.

Just went there yesterday afternoon. I purchased $45 for L'Oreal Xtenso Rebonding/Perming + Shiseido Water Spa Treatment+ Wash & Blow + FREE Scalp Analysis (total worth $276) by Exchange Hair Plus! from streetdeal

Everything seems fine until the moment I actually step into the salon. One guy pointed to a seat and asked me to sit there. No smile, unfriendly face. Then I just sat there, hoping someone will attend me. However, that only happened after a while of awkward don't-know-what-to do. A guy came to analyze my hair, said I need a hair cut. From my past rebonding experience, a hair cut is usually complementary. So I said ok. After that a girl came to me with a price list. Well, the hair cut was not free and it was actually quite expensive, even the girl who promoted it admitted it was ex. My hair is quite short and I can easily get a hair cut elsewhere at half of its price, so i rejected it. Then she kept talking and tried to persuade me to get the hair cut and introduced me another rebond which costs more than 180+. I was a bit annoyed but still rejected her in a nice way. She finally left. BUT she called another colleague to come and both were persuading me at the same time. Blah Blah. They insisted a hair cut is necessary for my rebond. I was overwhelmed by them. I didnt want to cut my hair, so I gave up doing rebonding. Eventually I only did the hair treatment.

Customers were left unattended for very long time. I saw a woman who lie in front of the washing basin for quite a while before her hair was washed. Personally I waited for long time to get my treatment done too.

All in all, hard-selling, bad service, the environment is not appealing.


To be fair, one positive comment is that the guy who attended me was slightly more friendly as compared to others. Some comments he gave me about my hair were quite useful. But I will never go back to this salon.

i purchased the street deals voucher for $25 for colour + shesheido water hair spa + wash + blow.
the whole process, i feel so satisfied with my result and service by the hairstylist called Vgi which he was so friendly and outspoken young guy.
After dye and treatment done, he do the styling for me and my hair is so nice when step out from the salon without paying any additional money. Thumbs up the deals, is really great buy.

I brought "$65 for Hair Perm or Rebonding + Wash + Blow and Waterspa treatment from Groupon at Exchange Hair Plus in Plaza Singapura.

I went on 2 Dec and the hair stylist was just a 19 year old Malaysian boy.

Because my hair is fine, thin and not alot he suggest me to do perm.

I suggest to him half head rebond and below perm, he say better.

Perm additional $88 + cut $38.

While during the perm the rubberband which help to secure the curler give way and the curler just fall off my hair and tangling half way.

He came up to me and for a few second he was lost and donno what he suppose to do.
I was like OMG.

And the way he cut my hair was so unprofessional.
End up my hair left side shorter then my right side and the perm one side curl and the other side not curl.

I try calling them today from 11.15am to 12pm, no one pick up even when it get through no one answer.

I decided to go back to usual hairstylist for help.

Will not step in there anymore...

MY TRUE STORY REVIEW TO SHARE.

I got a deal from Groupon for hair cut and water spa hair treatment for $30.

I called to book an appointment, I spoke in chinese since it is pretty obvious the gal whom answer my call was a Malaysian. Within 3 mins, she brushed me away and said July has been fully booked. I doubt she even check! So I called later in the day and spoke in a slang English accent, yes, she told me there are slots on the date I want. WTF?

I reached on time for my appointment on Saturday (21st July2012), I waited for 45mins. The whole saloon was full house! During the wait, there is this walk-in customer requesting for rebonding, without further hesitation, the staff asked one of the customer to get up from her seat (waiting to be serve) to move back into the waiting area while this walk-in customer takes over the seat and got served.

The waiting time is horrible. Then for the treatment it was WORST. I do not feel any improvement in my hair (I got frizzy and dry ends), the next day my hairs tangle much more! For the hair cut, I asked for trim, instead of reshaping my hairstyle, the hairstylist follow the shape (which has grown of shape, since my last hair cut was like 9 months ago).

Thus I felt wasted on $30, my hair looks the same. PLEASE DO NOT VISIT THIS SALOON! A good bottle of hair conditioner most probably works better than the water spa treatment! Trust me!

I so agree with you! Today is my appointment and they told me the sam stupid lame excuse! Stylist on mc! They are really horrible! Can really twist and turn their words! Can' t believe that there is only 2 stylist that can cut hair! The rest are just shampoo girls!

Waited for 1 hr to do our hair and the treatment they claim is shiseido but i doubt so!
On top of treatment we did color too. My sis color was ok although its not wst she choose but mine wad horrible coz they didnt cover my black hair well n came out 2 tone which is damn obvious! Best part when i question the lady she gave me stupid n rude reply. She say 'oh its like that cos the root is blavk'! Im like WTF! Saying that i shld add duno wat stupid booster to get the black part covered!

I went into the salon at 1.15pm and left at 6.15pm for just 20mins treatment, wash 10min anyhow cut n 20mins coloring with wash n blow. I suggest those who dun mind to wait or dun mind to destroy your hair, ferl free to try it out. 201% you will regret it!

i brought "$55 for Hair Perm or Rebonding + Wash + Blow at Exchange Hair Plus in Plaza Singapura (Worth $318). Additional L'Oreal Hair Treatment Option Available." from Groupon and i'm super regret.

1st. They called me at 10am of my actual appt day (Saturday 11am), told me that one of their hair dresser MC, so i might need to wait for very long and unable to provide better attention to me. SO, i'm fine with that and agreed to reschedule to Thursday 5pm 2 weeks later (which i had no choice, who want to take a risk on precious hair?).
2nd. i went for my appt on time. The male hairdresser keep persuade me to do rebonding instead of korean perm, and only later he told me that they don't have digital perm, and threaten me that the curl will not lasting and nice. FINE, i'll just go ahead with the old-fashioned way - rollers! it's no point to do rebonding because my hair already rebonded 1 year ago and still straight!
3rd. And the hair dresser very rude in the precess of treatment, perm, blow and wash. keep poking my face and eyes without apologies, the liquid all over my face.
4th. So he keep persuade me to upgrade my treatment with another $20+ because my hair is super dry. Okay fine, since you don't have digital perm, i agreed to upgrade hair treatment.
5th. he tell me that if i perm my hair, it's very difficult to take care, must apply styling cream and he will teach me how. On the final stage of perming, he shown me a small bottle of the styling cream and said it cost $30+, i though the price is reasonable for such small bottle of styling cream and i do not have any at home, SO i said okay i'll purchase it.

Finally, the perm is okay (thanks god), and bill of all these extra stuff cost me another $96 (Cut 38 + upgrade treatment 20+ + styling cream 30+). And i was expecting to bring home the styling cream that i paid for, and they told me "NO, i already apply to your hair what, which i shown you just now." WHICH MEAN THE $30+ i PAID IS FOR THAT FEW PUMP OF AMOUNT THEY USED IN THE SALON ONLY FML! i'll wash my hair the next day eventually, if they didn't mislead me, i would have not agreed for that few pump of styling cream!

On top of all the negative comment, i still get compliment for my new permed hair lah, i think the male hairdresser got skill but just the shitty cheating part pissed me off big time. Conclusion is I'll never ever go back again and never recommend to anybody else. Phew..done my review! hopes no more victim like me! They shall receive their karma

After my experience here - I would say these guys are cheats and crooks. They offer deals with sites like groupon which they have no intention of honoring.

Dont waste your time and effort with these guys - Go elsewhere
