Ho Wah Travel - Singapore

Did you manage to get your refund ? My mum has similar situation and has been 6 weeks since informed that trip is cancelled and chasing hard for refund now

We bought a korean skiing package (By SQ) from Ho Wah from the NATAS fair. we paid up 90%.
After a few weeks, Ho Wah kept calling me asking me to change my date of departure because my tour package has only 14 people, and they needed 15 to confirm. I told them that it is still early ( 2 months to departure date), there should be no problem getting a few more people to join since it is such a good package.
After much discussion, Ho Wah admitted that the real reason they kept asking me to switch departure dates is that they are unable to secure SQ tickets for the date. .
If they cannot guarantee SQ tickets, why advertise and sell that package? I feel so cheated. Ho Wah keeps refering to the fine print in the contract which states that they can change anything at anytime. But what i feel is that Ho Wah was unethical in their dealings with their customers. Why promise something that you cannot deliver?
